I'm a professional investor, advisor, and entrepreneur and have spent my career helping mid-size businesses grow and drive operational excellence.
I launched my first business in the early 2000s, building software, developing websites, and managing small business IT. After graduating from business school, I joined Satov, a strategy and operations consulting firm helping companies in sectors ranging from banks to breeders of lab mice.
I later joined Imperial Capital, one of Canada's most established private equity firms, with $1 billion of investments under management. At Imperial, I spent most of my time helping the leadership teams at our portfolio companies tackle challenges and realise opportunities. I was also involved in the acquisition of two businesses and the divestiture of one.
Through these experiences I saw how powerful and rewarding it can be to take an established business and help it accelerate. It was this exposure that fueled my desire to find a company with a strong foundation that I could step into as CEO to help optimize and grow.
I launched Red Oak Succession Capital to realize this ambition.
